Sorry about this little rant here guys, but I find it rather frustrating, when I get a bunch of personal emails asking to see photos of my Godzilla prototypes and stuff that I am selling, and then happily oblige and then... nothing- Not even a courtesy reply back?? I find that major uncool!!

I am not pinpointing any people on this board, as I am on a couple of Godzilla boards, but honestly, it's only common courtesy to reply back to someone that takes the time AND makes the effort to send you an email and show you photos, as per your request. Now, when I send back my emails, I also ask a few questions in return, and then find people just don't respond back?? Sorry, but that is just rude.

If you are one of those people that is just a 'photo collector' but can't make a little conversation to save your life, please do not bother emailing me, sorry.

I have only found this over the past while, and it seems to be mainly people that fancy Godzilla?? What is up with that...?? Is there some type of shroud of privacy that people follow, that are Godzilla fans, that do not know how to reply to a simple message?? I mean if someone sends me an email with some really cool pictures of photos of interest, or prototypes, or even conversation pieces, I am definitely going to respond and most likely right away, as long as I have the time to do so!! Yes, I know everyone has a life and life can get in the way, making people only respond 2-3 days later, and hey, that too is cool, no problem there. But the complete ignorant lack of a reply is really not cool in my books, sorry~

I apologize for my little rant here, but not everything is roses & tea in the world of email communicado..

I don't know. I've seen that happen on eBay a lot of times when I have stuff for sale. I don't take any offense to it. It's just business.

I'm guessing people are interested in seeing more pictures of the item but then just decide not to purchase the item / artwork but are either too lazy or just don't feel like replying. In the end, as a seller you can just send another reply e-mail to see if he/she received the e-mail and photos to see and maybe you will get a courtesy e-mail back. Just don't expect too much from people on the internet. I learned this from past experiences and don't care if people reply or not.

Thankx GForever. I hear what you're saying and I agree, although, I am not only referring to selling an item. Lots of people email me for scans of my Animated Godzilla the Series collection and ask me a bunch of questions... So when I write back and also ask questions, I question why people just ignore you back?? That, I don't like, but yeah..., you're right, don't be expecting too much from people over the internet.

Cool.

Peace.

It isn't just Godzilla collectors that are a little flaky, it's everybody. It seems like no on has any matters anymore. But then there is the case of when you emailed me before when I was in NC, sometimes people just aren't around. It really shouldn't bother you, these are just random people that you would probably never meet in real life.

Totally a spammer. Now we just need Gforever or Heisei to show up and get rid of him and his posts. Should only take a week or so......

Sorry guys, you proved me wrong! Hopefully we will all be a little more active and maybe even draw a few people into our little community with the good news.

I meant either Heisei or GForever. I said, tounge-in-cheek, that it would take a week to get rid of the spammer and his posts. They proved me wrong.
