I am a novice Kamen Rider fan but I've know one of the biggest KR fans of all time, Igadevil. (his website is currently down for re-designing.) Believe it or not, we went to the same university and became friends in a Japanese Anime class. (By the way, I never really gotten into Anime but wanted to check out that class for kicks. My final report was on the Big G. ) But when I went to visit him at his place, his KR collection is unbelievable, it makes my G-collection look like a beginner's..... So yea, after awhile, he got me into on KR.

I started watching Kamen Rider in 2005 with Blade. Went backwards a bit to see Faiz and a little bit of Ryuki and watched all episodes of Hibiki, Kabuto, Den-O, and Kiva. For me, Blade and Kabuto were the best! The stories were mysterious, the suits were cool, and the kaijin (monster people) were cool too. Hibiki was too slow for me while Den-O and Kiva were fun to watch but sometimes it was too kiddy.... Decade so far so good. Most rider shows start off real slow and make me lose interest right away. Blade and Kabuto were the only ones that really made me anticipate each next episode. While I dislike Decade's suit design, the idea of bringing all the Riders together is pretty cool though it makes me wonder if popularity among Kaiju & Toku are dying now, and the last hope is to draw older fans by bringing every character in just like Ultraman and Godzilla. Your thoughts?
